Laura Capps

Founder

For the past 25 years, Laura has been leading public relations efforts for national leaders, national and state non-profits, global businesses and educational institutions. She began her political career as an assistant in the west wing of the White House followed by service as White House presidential speechwriter, presidential campaign communications director, U.S. Senate communications director. Laura has started and run non-profits, served on ten national and local non-profit boards and managed large government affairs and communication operations.  She was just re-elected to her second term on the Santa Barbara School Board.  Laura is passionate about issues and helping to advance worthy causes and organizations by sharing her expertise. Beatrice Brawer

Digital and Campaign Strategist

A rising star in the political campaign landscape of California, Beatrice has successfully managed a significant race for school board, served as communications director for a mayoral campaign and field coordinator for a county supervisor race. As Capstone's digital and campaign strategist, Beatrice brings to the table her expertise in social media, writing, management, passion for issues and keen ability to keep the trains running on time. Currently, Beatrice is a student at the University of California, Berkeley, where she is pursuing a degree in Political Science, specializing in International Relations.

Web Development and User Experience

Amy is a User Experience Designer with a passion for making user experiences easy, efficient, and delightful. Amy leads a team of designers and researchers that work to create cutting edge B2B software and has expertise with SaaS and mobile experiences. One of her many goals is to work toward new and innovative ways to help people work efficiently in and out of the office. Amy brings over 25 years of experience in front end web development, visual design, and user experience design to her work, and is a native of Santa Barbara.
